We have a stellar opportunity for a talented copywriter (yes, that’s you!) to join our Harvey Norman Online team, specialising in creating engaging and on-brand copy for a broad range of categories across our award-winning website.
This is a full time permanent position, requiring 38 hours per week.
Upholding the Harvey Norman voice’ - you’ll research and write e-commerce advertising content including product descriptions, buying guides, brand pages, services and promotional banners which drive conversion-to-purchase.
Liaise with merchant and product teams, as well as key stakeholders, to plan and deliver a premium standard of copy that informs and inspires customers.
Contribute to the ongoing growth of the Harvey Norman website through the creation of targeted, SEO-friendly product copy.
Mentor junior copywriters, providing detailed feedback and support to facilitate their progression within the editorial team.
Take ownership of the ongoing development of the brand’s tone-of-voice, editorial policies and style guides.
Review content prior to publication to ensure accuracy and compliance and confirm that all output meets brand and editorial requirements and is aligned with marketing objectives.
Communications degree or equivalent professional experience
Outstanding writing and communications skills
Exemplary editing skills and acute attention to detail
Content Management System (CMS) experience, particularly Magento
Knowledge of keyword placement and SEO best practices is preferred
Proficiency with the Microsoft suite of products especially Word and Excel
Excellent organisation and time-management skills
Adaptive to constructive criticism
Commitment to accuracy in a deadline-driven environment and work in accordance with company and consumer compliance policies
