    The opportunity

    We are looking to recruit highly organised, motivated and detail-oriented Document Control professionals to provide, manage and champion document control frameworks and manage the overall documentation management processes and practices for a program and / or project.

    This role is project-focused and as such will report to the Project Controls Manager along with other PMO resources allocated to the project team.

    Functionally the role reports directly to the Document Control Manager and you will provide program and specified project document control as a key element of the quality control process.

    The successful person will understand the project requirements and make necessary amendments in the way the Document Control System is configured for a better user experience and appropriate document control function.

    This role will manage the incoming and outgoing contractual deliverable documents in the designated EDRMS and manage the contractual deliverables as per the document control process and work instructions which are specific to the project.

    This role will provide high level document control and project support to enhance the timely and effective delivery of project / s, ensuring compliance with appropriate legislation, organisational policies and guidelines.

    About you

  • Demonstrated experience in a project environment with electronic records and document management systems; asset and / or engineering management systems;
  • and project management systems

  • Proven experience as a Document Controller or similar role preferably in the construction industry
  • Excellent understanding of organization document types including construction and Infrastructure development
  • Ability to work independently and contribute effectively in a collaborative team environment whilst maintaining a high level of work ethic
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks in a time sensitive environment with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Pragmatic and confident liaising with different level of stakeholders with prior experience working in a projects team on large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Proven working knowledge of electronic document management systems (EDMS) like Teambinder with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, highly organised, disciplined and results orientated with the willingness to learn new systems.
