As a People & Safety Partner, you will join our national People & Safety team during a history making time within Automotive Retailing.
Reporting to the People & Safety Manager, you will partner with the General Managers / Dealer Principals and Department Managers within the business to drive employee engagement and deliver value-add HR support on all people matters.
As a People & Safety Partner, you will :
Engage and develop strong relationships with your business partners,
Lead the delivery of the People & Safety strategy for your Region,
Collaborate with the Regional and National People & Safety team,
Support employee engagement through targeted action plans and initiatives,
Provide accurate and timely advice on all people matters including award interpretation queries;
Support with and conduct workplace investigations and employment relations functions’
Support the performance management within your client group to support the continuous development of a high performing culture,
Support your client group with training and development needs ensuring compliance to legislative and industry requirements,
Facilitate training and project implementation across your client group,
Ensure compliance to relevant employment legislation;
Partner with the injury management team as required on complex cases such as long-term illness,
Proactively contribute to the development of our People & Safety activities to deliver a be in class HR service to our internal customers
You will have :
A minimum 5 years' experience in Human Resources,
Experience interpreting and advising on Employment legislation and Modern Award entitlements,
Strong communication and influencing skills,
Demonstrated ability to manage ER / IR matters and Workers Compensation claims,
Flexibility and willingness to travel to multiple sites,
A 'can-do' attitude and the ability to meet the needs of our stakeholders customers, manufacturers, shareholders, employees and the community.
