Reporting into the Group GM Procurement Directs, you will provide end to end leadership and governance over the Category management of Asahi’s MRO & Capex requirements.
In this newly created role, we are looking for an experienced and innovative Category Manager to bring their engineering expertise to deliver sourcing activities whilst proposing innovative ways to achieve cost reduction and budgeted savings for Asahi Beverages.
The design and action of new category management framework that supports MRO, Capex and Auxiliaries
Responsibility for the end to end sourcing activity including negotiations and approval of recommendations
Partnering with key stakeholders to understand internal business requirements and determine and develop best sourcing and category management strategy
Manage category risk in partnership with the business
Participation in budgeting activity for the next financial year
Proposing continuous improvement opportunities as they relate to the Procurement sourcing process
Develop should cost models to ensure the best outcome for negotiations and increased transparency
Innovative with the ability to challenge internal business requirements to offer an optimised approach to buying that will improve productivity and enhance customer experience
7 years’ experience within previous MRO & Capex sourcing / procurement roles
A demonstrated achievement of improvements within an FMCG supply chain / engineer environment with a high analytical component
Extensive SAP supply chain experience in transactional and analytical tools
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability presenting to senior stakeholders
