We are actively seeking experienced In Home Disability Support Workers for our clients in the Southern Suburbs. This is an ongoing position.
Key requirements :
Experience working with clients in the community required
Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support or Aged Care
In-Home Support and Community Housing Shift
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Provide support and services to clients with the Person Centered Active Support model
Encourage individuals living with a disability to be engaged in their own lives
Assist clients with their personal health care and mobility needs
Current Drivers Licence and Reliable Car
Willingness to work long shifts - AM and PM
Must be willing to commit to ongoing rosters providing support to our clients
Adaptability to work with different individuals including challenging behaviours
DCSI Screenings - Disability or Child related
