About Your Role

The System Safety Engineer will be a key member of the OneSky Safety team and is responsible to provide support activities of the System Safety Program Plan and for the development of the Safety Case Report and related activities.

  • Manage the engineering safety studies of the Thales equipment in coordination with different departments and produce the safety folder of system or product
  • Performing the safety studies and analysis during the program lifecycle
  • Analysing the customer requirements related to safety and take part in the bid phase of project
  • Work closely with other System Safety Engineers, the Safety Team Leader and liaises with various stakeholders (Software and Hardware Engineer)
  • Anticipate and propose solutions of any concern that could affect the engineering safety of system or product
  • Contribute at the department level to improve the safety activities, processes and training
  • How About You?

  • Engineering or Computer Science Degree or equivalent
  • Experience in generating or performing fault tree analysis
  • Knowledge of safety standards (E.g DO-178, DO-278)
  • Extensive experience in performing systems safety of real time and distributed software-based systems in Air Traffic, Rail, Marine, Aviation or related industries.
  • Ability to understand / interpret technical information and drawings, analyse technical information and be able to problem-solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
