We have a newly created opportunity for an experienced people leader to lead the Field Supervisors and outdoor employees of the Open Space Operations team.
This role encompasses leadership, planning and management of the Open Space areas within Council. It provides a unique opportunity for the right person to grow and adapt as the role grows and to truly make it their own.
We are looking for an energetic and positive leader who can work with Field Supervisors and outdoor employees to continue to improve our service delivery, capability and capacity in Open Space Operations.
Developing, managing and monitoring plans and standards for operational programs within budget requirements to meet work area plans, is a critical outcome of the role.
Your passion for building collaborative working relationships and your ability to drive performance and accountability will see you succeed in this role.
Ideally you hold a Diploma (or higher) in Horticulture and Arboriculture, and a Diploma in Management. You have a proven ability to lead change to business operations and strategy implementation is key.
You are technically savvy and able to learn new software programs and support the team in using technology.
