We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company in The Logistics Sector.

  • Attend and develop materials / provide data for HSE Meetings / HSE Toolbox (Pre-start) Meetings
  • Coordinate and deliver HSE training programs that enhance the understanding and effectiveness of the HSEQ Global Management System, risk management, safety leadership and hazard reduction
  • Support and coordinate the regional HSE audit program, including preparation and facilitation of audits relating to the needs of customers, regulators and accreditation schemes
  • Conduct regular site HSE inspections with business stakeholders to drive improvements on-site conditions
  • Conduct incident investigations using appropriate methodologies to ensure the determination of root cause and timely corrective action;
  • review all other incident investigations and assist business stakeholders as required

  • Review and assist regional stakeholders with the development and maintenance of the Site / s HSE Risk Registers
  • Undertake safety conversations as per KPI and record in TRAC
  • Assist with the development / review of risk assessments
  • 5-7 years of practical experience in a HSE role with a focus on warehousing and dangerous goods transport
  • Strong relationship management of both internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with Major Hazard facilities & compliance with Safety Case
  • Experience in third-party audits and corrective action planning
  • Knowledge of HSE legislation, AS4801, OHSAS18001 & ISO14001
  • Excellent written and communication skills, and write high-quality reports
  • Experience in conducting incident investigations using ICAM or similar methodologies
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with others including legislators, external auditors, accreditation bodies, industry experts
  • Competent computing skills, advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Superior problem-solving capability
  • Ability to work flexible hours to support the business operational requirements
  • Experience with Dangerous Goods transport or storage (desirable)
