The position

The investigator is responsible for undertaking investigations in connection with breaches of the building services legislation

Drawing on your experience in conducting investigations you will investigate complaints and assess information, prepare investigation plans, gather evidence, collect witness statements and conduct records of interview.

  • You will possess the ability to conduct investigations, including;
  • prioritising lines of enquiry;
  • interpreting and applying legislation, policy, procedure and guidelines;
  • developing comprehensive investigative plans; and
  • interviewing witnesses and persons of interest.
  • This position is located at Cannington.

    What do you require to successfully undertake the role?

  • Demonstrate ability to identify issues, analyse findings, develop realistic and practical solutions and conceptualise the impact on the business area.
  • Demonstrate ability to conduct investigations, including prioritising lines of enquiry, interpreting and applying legislation, policy, procedure and guidelines, developing comprehensive investigative plans, interviewing witnesses and persons of interest.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the rules of evidence and natural justice in relation to investigations.
