Conditions :

This is a permanent, full time position, based at Perth Head Office.

About the Role :

This role is accountable for leading and supporting the development of strategic network plans and asset strategies by clearly identifying SEQT requirements associated with the work program and influencing external stakeholders to secure strategic safety and environment statutory approvals and requirements for future growth, development and protection of the network.

This will enable improved SEQT outcomes and the creation of opportunities with external stakeholders to secure strategic network SEQT approvals and requirements for future growth, development and protection of the network.

About you :

The successful applicant will be experienced and competent in the following :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in environmental science, science, urban and regional planning, law or related discipline
  • 10+ years of experience in environment, heritage and statutory planning approvals.
  • Experience in Public and environmental safety matters and the development of risk reducing performance improvement strategies
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and written skills
  • Proven ability to influence key internal and external stakeholders in relation to SEQT outcomes
  • Demonstrated experience with community engagement
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a dynamic environment and to work autonomously
  • Experience in delivering large complex business wide improvement strategies
  • A sound understanding of the regulations and arrangements associated with infrastructure planning, land development, environmental assessments, and heritage and land access.

  • Salary : ASU EA Level 8.1P : $126,647 + 11% superannuation.
