The position is responsible for the business management overall, including monthly business reviews, quarterly financial accountability, and annual planning to drive revenue, profit, and market share goals for Microsoft Store products.

The ability to inspire, influence and implement these initiatives will be key to the success of the individual and Microsoft Store team.

Additionally, the role will be responsible for a regular ROBs with US headquarters and regional stakeholders.

In this highly visible role, you will partner with executive leadership and stakeholders in ANZ to define the overall go to market strategy for SMB / EDU / PS audiences.

The ability to drive complex projects, deal with ambiguity and be comfortable interacting with senior leaders and virtual teams, both internally and externally is, therefore essential in this role.

You will partner with Online Store leads on sales enablement and product / new program readiness. You will be the Voice of the Field back to Corp stakeholders in Stores, Segment and Product Groups.

By providing strategic leadership and best practices on SMB central strategies and Sales execution, you will be a key contributor to the overall success of the Commercial Sales team.

Finally, this role will act as internal and external spokesperson for Microsoft Store. This includes representing Microsoft Store to senior leadership team in the Australia & New Zealand Microsoft subsidiaries, hosting Enterprise customers in sharing sessions to describe how we run our own retail operations using the Microsoft tech stack, or acting as the point of escalation for customer / partner sales and support.

Responsibilities :

Select specific responsibilities for the Commercial - Online Store Lead include the following :

  • Meet / exceed sales targets and delivers favorable margin dollars and industry leading NSAT, online and on-phone for ANZ
  • Lead and optimize the assisted dual user and business customer journey (whether on the phone, or in person).
  • Lead and optimize the unassisted dual user and business customer journey
  • Be the SME, internal Online Store business evangelist and area leader for the Online Direct Commercial business. Success in this role is dependent on deep value-add relationships with multiple internal stakeholders (Commercial Business Group-EPG, SMS&P, BG, MSFT Store) to consistently increase the contribution to the online commercial business.
  • Be active to partner, inspire, engage and develop connections between business influencers and stakeholders.

  • Relentlessly pursue the creation of fans and lifetime relationships with past customers
  • Define and drive consistent KPIs, SLAs and ROB within area to highlight and overcome sales drivers and blockers. Develop regular forum and governance that brings stakeholders together to drive success.
  • Strong communication and ROB with corporate team to align, collaborate and share area business

  • Lead Call Center agents and others to meet / exceed targets with training, escalations, strategy, planning and sales efforts to accelerate the business and win over customers every time.
  • The RSL will be the escalation path that the field depends on for results and advanced problem solving

  • Collaborate with the physical Store teams to optimize NSAT and Revenue
  • Qualifications :

    Education / Experience Required :

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a fast-paced, results-driven culture
  • Working in retail, within a great brand and directly with SMB audiences is a must

  • Proven ability to work successfully to build relationships with global stakeholders across different geo and organizational boundaries
  • Bachelor's Degree; MBA preferred
  • Periodic international travel will be required
