  • About the role :

    In this position, you will primarily be responsible for planning, coordination and control of the dispatch function within the branch.

    This will include the management of labour and equipment to ensure products are picked accurately and dispatched on time and in full to customers.

    This is an excellent opportunity to buuild your operational career within the wholesale industry.

    What you’ll do :

  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Managing all aspects dispatch, including planning, reporting, staffing / labour and quality control.
  • Coordination of delivery runs and driver rosters in a timely manner.
  • Management of staff, including skills gap identification and training.
  • Taking ownership of the dispatch function.
  • Effective collaboration with other departments to ensure goals are achieved.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, quality and safety standards.
  • What you’ll bring :

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within FMCG or Food.
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Strong leadership skills, as well as people and performance management experience
  • Previous experience in fleet / dispatch management preferred
  • Current Forklift license or willingness to obtain within 3 months of commencing role
  • Experience in a HACCP environment, ideal but not necessary
  • Experience in Change Management
  • Strong working knowledge of CoR (Chain of Responsibility)
