Our Client is a community based, non-profit organisation that specialises in the group employment’ of apprentices and trainees in a wide range of industries and currently employs 180+ apprentices and trainees across a broad range of qualifications.

They are currently seeking applicants for an Indigenous Plastering Apprenticeship based in Toowoomba, the role will provide the successful applicant with the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge through completing on the job work experience and training.

Some duties include :

Assembling partitions

Installing and finishing plasterboard and fibre cement sheeting to walls and ceilings

Requirements :

Identify as Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander

Current Drivers Licence

A genuine interest in this industry

A willingness to develop skills and knowledge

The ability to listen, follow instructions and ask for assistance when required

Commitment to completing apprenticeship
