If you're keen to kick off or continue a career within broadcast television and other exciting content delivery platforms, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities : Taking care of all tasks associated within media asset management including :
Acquisition and ingest of program, news, commercial, production, promo and digital assets as well as daily local and international satellite feeds.
Making sure media assets are readily available within our Media Asset Management system for all our internal production teams.
Utilising advanced workflow tools ensuring media items are prepared for transmission with appropriate workflow stages applied and monitored.
QC of broadcast items ensuring technical standards are met and applying play out segmentation and integration metadata where required (yes, getting paid to watch our great new content!)
Scheduled asset monitoring, liaising with internal and external facilities ensuring all broadcast items are ready when they need to be.
Raw media handling and preparation utilising high-end media processing applications and systems QUALIFICATIONS : Experience :
You will need to be a highly motivated self-starter who can thrive in a deadline driven environment
Have effective communication skills with strong customer service focus.
High attention to detail.
Strong computer literacy and enjoy the use of new technology
Experiencing using any MAM platform, AVID Media Composer, Adobe Media Encoder and Adobe Premiere Pro as well as understanding of common codecs and file formats an advantage however not essential.
Ability to learn and adapt to continuously evolving technology, practices and procedures.
