We are on the lookout for several super-stars to join our dynamic Customer Experience Centre as a Collections Specialist, on a permanent contract, located at our head office in Mulgrave.
This particular role is responsible for working directly with our customers who are often in difficult circumstances, applying empathy matched with problem solving and strong negotiation skills to agree suitable outcomes.
Key metrics for this role are around successfully negotiated outcomes, the rate of delinquency and cost of risk within our business.
Candidates need to be willing to adapt to the ever-changing environment, which will involve being cross-trained in other functions and roles across the entire Customer Experience Centre.
Key responsibilities include :
To be successful in this role you, you will be a great team player with demonstrated empathy, negotiation skills and decision-making abilities, because our customers are our number one focus.
As a collections super-star, you will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a collections environment, with automotive experience being advantageous.
You will also have an excellent ability to problem-solve and resolve conflict. Knowledge of Bankruptcy / Liquidation requirements and legal procedures would be highly beneficial.
