MessageMedia are looking for a Senior Market Analyst with at least 5 to 8 years of relevant experience to join their team.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this newly created role will be responsible for sizing & tracking key go to market initiatives for MessageMedia.

The Senior Market Analyst will work with Product, Marketing, Strategy, and Sales teams to define the market size for key initiatives, identify the required customer segments and create clear & validated demand generation and go to market targets.

Key responsibilities of the Senior Market Analyst will include :

  • Leading market sizing for key Message Media initiatives by completing desktop research, qualitative and quantitative customer, and channel research (You will also need to have calls with potential customers / channels in the market to help determine the size of prize!)
  • Creating and maintaining clear customer segments which map to market opportunity and align to Message Media‚Äôs go to market strategy.
  • This will involve working closely with the business and data / analytics functions to create cohesive customer segments which drive our go to market initiatives

  • Mapping the analytics flow from high level market opportunity to acquisition / demand generation, and maintain an up to date tracking of how demand generation is progressing
  • Interpreting the data and delivering insights back through credible and engaging storytelling and presentation, along with recommendations for future testing and success.
  • Being able to present across the business and up to Board level where required

  • Working with the Product and Marketing teams to evolve and iterate approaches to market sizing and validation
  • The successful candidate for this role will need to have comprehensive experience in market research techniques. They will also need to have experience in strategic analysis to identify opportunities in the market.

    Experience as a Marketing or Strategy Analyst will be ideal plus a tertiary qualification such as a MBA, Accounting / Business degree or equivalent.
