About the role
Our compassionate and proactive team are looking for a positive, caring and professional Youth Worker to provide care and support to vulnerable young people in our out of home care whose lives have been impacted by trauma.
There are days when you will be challenged and there will be some tough moments but you will know in your heart that you are making a positive difference to a young person's life.
No two days will be the same however your day-to-day responsibilities will include :
The core hours of work will include night and weekend work. You will also be required to attend staff meetings and compulsory training provided by the organisation.
You are passionate about the welfare of children and achieving the absolute best outcomes for them.
You are a caring, easily approachable and very compassionate person with the ability to engage children and youth quickly and effectively to support them in their growth and development.
