This is an open-ended recruitment pool, and as such the following should be noted :

  • The panel will monitor this recruitment pool for applications, and will assess on a regular basis.
  • Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur.

  • Position Profile : We are seeking to appoint suitably qualified and enthusiastic Dr's as Service Registrars in various departments.

    The positions provide high quality, patient centred care to inpatients and outpatients, under the supervision of the specific department / unit HoD to which the doctor is allocated.

    You will be required to work as part of a multidisciplinary team to review the medical needs of patients within Rockingham Peel Group (RkPG) and provide teaching and support, as appropriate to Doctors in Training (DiT’s), Nursing, Allied Health and other multidisciplinary team members across the service.

    You will also be required to work with the hospital(s) and health service to achieve National, State, and South Metropolitan Health Service (SMHS) performance standards and targets and National Safety and Quality Healthcare Standards.

    Area Profile : Rockingham Peel Group is part of the South Metropolitan Health Service, one of the fastest growing health services in Western Australia and comprises two hospital campuses, Rockingham General Hospital and Murray District Hospital, in addition to community and mental health services across Peel, Rockingham and Kwinana.

    As the flagship hospital, Rockingham General is focused on providing high quality general medical, surgical and mental health services as well as outpatient care.

    Murray District Hospital offers inpatient medical services, palliative care and allied health services.
