About the Role

This is a full-time Fixed Term position for a period of up to 12 months (with the possibility of extension or permanency).

The most competitive applicant will be offered the position as an expression of interest, secondment opportunity or fixed term contract depending on their circumstances.

Our Infrastructure Delivery Directorate is currently based at the Office for Major Transport Infrastructure Delivery (OMTID), which is located in Stirling Street Perth.

OMTID was set up to deliver all the major road and rail infrastructure projects and is made up of employees from Main Roads and the Public Transport Authority.

This role is primarily responsible for managing the provision of executive, business management and project administration services for the Infrastructure Delivery Directorate.

However, with the co-location with the Public Transport Authority as part of OMTID, this role will also be responsible for ensuring that the business management team collaborate and share expertise with the Public Transport Authority administration team to deliver appropriate operational outcomes for both the Infrastructure Delivery Directorate and OMTID.

  • Substantial experience in the management of business functions including business planning, financial management and reporting.
  • Exposure to managing resources including behaviour, performance and development.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to build relationships and communicate effectively
  • Resilience and the ability to adapt to a demanding and changing environment
  • Enthusiasm, commitment and a focus on achieving results
