You will assist with providing high quality nursing and / or midwifery care within the Port Lincoln Hospital aimed at improving patient health outcomes.
Assessing individual patient needs, you will plan, implement or coordinate appropriate service delivery from a range of accepted options.
You will also provide health education, counselling and rehabilitation programs to improve the health outcomes of individual patients or groups.
It is expected that you will provide support and guidance to newer or less experienced Nurses / Midwives, student nurses and other workers providing basic nursing or midwifery care.
Port Lincoln Hospital a modern 48-bed hospital complete with Special Care unit, Chemotherapy / Renal dialysis Unit and Operating Rooms facilities.
There is a wide range of visiting surgeons and the facility provides medical, special care, surgical, obstetric, palliative care and services for children.

Enrolled or eligible for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
