Duratec is a multi-disciplined builder and maintenance contractor and regarded as one of Australia's fastest growing privately owned companies with over 12 branches across Australia servicing the Mining, Oil and Gas, Industrial and Marine industries along with Government assets and Commercial Infrastructure including Heritage buildings.

THE ROLE :

Due to recently awarded contracts, we are currently seeking an experienced Site Supervisor - Facades to join our Brisbane team working out of our Northgate office Reporting to the Project Manager - Facades, you will be primarily responsible the overall supervision of the projects on site including planning, coordination and controlling the projects through to completion.

Depending on the size and scope of the projects you will manage a team of Leading Hands and Subcontractors to ensure the efficient and appropriate delegation of work activities and ensure the successful execution of those activities.

The Site Supervisor will liaise with and coordinate the Subcontractors, safety, and Client site representative to ensure the best for project goals are known and achieved.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

In this role you will be responsible for :

  • Supervise single or multiple projects and controlling and managing all aspects of the projects.
  • Ensure compliance with HSECQ requirements.
  • Maintain the project site, premises, plant & equipment in a fully operational and in a tidy condition
  • Ensure effective cost control and efficient running of projects
  • Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors
  • Project progress reporting and conducting of pre-starts, weekly meetings, toolbox talks, safety briefings etc
  • ABOUT YOU :

  • Have a high level of understanding and appreciation for Safety
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role within the construction remediation and cladding industry
  • Fa├žade and cladding installation and replacement experience Highly Desirable
  • Working at Heights, EWP and Senior First Aid certification
  • Excellent programming and planning skills
  • Be highly articulate with strong communication skills
  • Extensive project management and delivery skills, including budgeting, coordinating work priorities, cost control, subcontractor management, documentation.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and MS Project
