Role Overview

The Sales Support Analyst role supports the prospect to cash process for the Corporate and Tax & Accounting Professionals sales unit.

This includes working with a range of ERP, CRM (SAP & Salesforce) & other systems to facilitate sales requirements & objectives, helping work through difficult questions related to subscription / contracts and facilitate complex orders / billing with internal departments and being a primary resource for all things operational.

The role requires an individual with a strong sense of urgency, ability to prioritize and attention to detail to ensure stakeholder expectations are managed and business objectives are achieved.

Furthermore, the individual must be experienced in data manipulation, reporting and be comfortable in building rapport / relationships across the organisation.

This role is suited for individuals who enjoy problem solving and tackling business challenges to improve enterprise wide functionality.

This role will report to the Operations Manager


  • Serves as a primary resource for the sales teams to understand business policies related to prospect to cash, order processing, application of promotional offerings within Salesforce and assists in problem solving and guiding the sales team to the correct channels within the business
  • First line support for process and system queries, monitor on an ongoing basis and implement solutions for recurring issues that arise.
  • Develop strong internal rapport & relationships with internal stakeholders to address issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Provide training & ongoing support to sales team members in navigating Salesforce from prospect to cash.
  • Provide ongoing support to sales team members in escalations and problem solving within the contract to billing phase.
  • Support sales team members with complaints regarding administrative issues, working closely with internal stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Compiling of Monthly, Weekly & ADHOC reports for sales team members to drive actionable insights for Sales teams through : reporting and analysis, supporting the development of sales strategies and providing insight into customer spend and trends.
  • Process ownership of Territory Management Systems, ensuring relevant TR representatives to account assignments are maintained with integrity & accuracy.
  • Content ownership of operational processes and documentation including filing and document management
  • Oversee and support all project activities related to Sales Systems (SAP / Salesforce roll out)
  • System coordinator of Hoopla & Advisor sales enablement platform
  • Ensure meticulous client detail in all systems for the purposes of accurate activity reporting, user management system data, the billing and invoicing systems (SAP and Salesforce).
  • Skills Requirements

  • Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision
  • Previous experience working in Project Support or Sales Support role
  • Experience working with SAP, Salesforce
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Fundamental Salesforce administration skills and knowledge
  • Superb written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Advanced analytical, excel skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and gain alignment with key stakeholders
  • Ability to build strong relationships across business units and functions
  • Ability to handle high levels of ambiguity and complexity
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change and continuous improvement
  • Understanding of Sales cycle
  • Confident, helpful, customer-oriented phone presence required
  • Tertiary education is advantageous but not essential
