We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team in Caringbah, NSW.
Key Responsibilities of the role include :
Maintain cooperative relationship with all legislative, approval bodies and authorities, e.g. councils, building services authority, the state workplace safety authority, etc.
Arrange design submissions for approval with council and other authorities
Effectively manage scheduling and programming to ensure that the project remains on time and within budget specifications.
Co-ordinating resources and procurement throughout the tender & construction phases
Compiling & coordinating construction programs for multiple sites
Responsible for day to day decision making regarding program logic.
Establish and maintain an amicable relationship with neighbours’ and all affected parties of our projects.
Actively consult with architects, engineers and other technical team members to ensure that design intentions are achieved.
Superintend works during construction
Role involves statewide travel throughout NSW & Victoria
Minimum 10 years’ experience working in the construction industry;
Minimum 3 years local banking construction experience;
Thorough understanding of Burra Charter & heritage design. Must have experience working with heritage buildings.
Construction contract experience
Full understanding of NCC & all Australian building standards;
Ability to design and project manage projects from concept design, approvals, construction;
Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects at different construction stages;
Minimum 10 years architect design experience with a majority of this in the Banking design sector;
Ability to use AutoCad & revit documentation programs
Situated locally in the Sutherland Shire;
