We have a fantastic opportunity for a Vertical Business Leader Data Centre , based in either Melbourne, Sydney or Singapore .

The Vertical Business Leader is responsible for leading & managing the entire Sales & Business development cycle for identified customer’s in the Data Centre vertical across Asia Pacific.

This person will own the complete business metrics in this vertical not limited to opportunity funnel management, enabling project wins, bid resource planning, financial orders forecast’s, account and life-cycle management support.

The successful candidate will work closely with the regional leadership team, regional sales / marketing organisation, key business partners and dedicated vertical domain customer consultant / solution architect team to capture maximum share of demand (SOD) in the Data Centre vertical growth in addition to delivering planned return on investment for this initiative.

  • Key Accountabilities include;
  • Business Relationships : Engages with C-suite / senior influencers within customer organisation. Build and drives forums across vertical insights.
  • Create network of key developers for global leverage.

  • Sales Process : Drives and maintains highly matrix sales organisation to deliver growth in designated vertical. Able to drive APAC level engagement charter based on time zones and cultural challenges.
  • Customers : Steer creation of the customer technical roadmap; customers include both internal and external. Participates in forums and industry seminars to gain visibility about the market and create awareness with customers on Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) offerings.
  • People Management : Influence support (Buy-in) from regional leaders based on clear business rationale. Should be able to command respect and drive results across the APAC.
  • Leadership : Inspiring and motivating leader driving One Team culture with focus on sense of urgency in driving growth and capturing value creation.
  • Results : Forecasting on the AOP deliverable. YOY growth with emphasis on double digit growth over region GDP as minimum.

  • Education, Qualifications & Experience;
  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree Engineering / Economics / Finance
  • Strong preference for engineering / technology background with excellent analytical skills.
  • Approximately 15 years of experience. (8 years additional in lieu of Bachelor’s degree)
  • Must have around 4-6 years of business development experience (ideally solutions type of organisation) or proven sales / project experience with strong exposure to technology.
  • preferably in Data Centre vertical.

  • Fluent in speaking and writing in English
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts / offerings to internal and external customers, consultants, include C level executives.
  • Demonstrated high-level business analysis skills with proven ability to forecast client’s needs, use questioning strategies, and create and architect innovative and creative solutions in a complex multiple systems environment.
  • Proven ability to work on multiple projects / opportunities at one time
