About the Role
GHD has been appointed by Main Roads Western Australia to deliver a state-wide Operational Asset Management Support Service (AMSS) contract.
Under this contract, GHD provides centralised and regional support to assist Main Roads manage and maintain the State road network.
Seeking an experienced Bridge Works Supervisors for a 22 month fixed term contract based in the Northam, WA, to be seconded into the Main Roads team.
Key tasks :
Undertake supervision / surveillance of Bridge maintenance and refurbishment works
Quality control including organising audit testing, release of hold points and sign off verification checklist
Ensure works undertaken as per Main Roads technical specification and standards
Maintain records of all site works
Monitor traffic management, safety and environment
Key skills, qualifications and experience required :
Between 8 15 years relevant experience
Experience in Bridge maintenance and refurbishment works
Experience in supervision and surveillance
Experience in quality, safety and traffic and environmental management plans
Provision of customer service focus
Research, analysis and problem solving
White card or blue card (prior to 2010)
Worksite traffic management
