About the IT Consultant position
Reesby are looking for a skilled IT Consultant who will provide assistance in development, usage and integration of IT systems for our brand name client.
Your duties will include helping to resolve technical problems and training users to maximize the value of technology in business.
You should be knowledgeable and customer-oriented, possessing strong communication and presentation skills. We also expect you to have superior technical expertise and a problem-solving aptitude.
IT Consultant responsibilities are :
Collect and analyze customer requirements and business objectives
Oversee IT initiatives and collaborate with in-house technical staff
Help employees and clients with strategic advice on using technology to achieve their goals
Provide training to users in new and existing IT systems
Perform planning and design of IT systems and networks ensuring the right architecture and functionality
Evaluate existing systems and suggest improvements
Assist in new technology implementation
Assist employees and clients with technical issues
Prepare reports and present them to senior management
IT Consultant requirements are :
2+ years' experience of working on an IT Consultant position
Profound experience with various operating systems and databases
Good experience of troubleshooting hardware,software and network problems
Good experience in project management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with customer service orientation
Strong teamwork, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
BSc or BA degree in computer science, IT or other relevant area; any relevant certification (such as CompTIA A+) will be a bonus
