The White Bull Tavern requires a fulltime Restaurant Manager at their Hotel in Roma.
Responsibilities and Duties
Take responsibility for the operation and performance of the restaurant
Analyses and plan restaurant sales levels and profitability
Prepare reports at the end of the shift / week / month, including staff control, food control and sales
Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations
Recruitment, training, supervision and conflict resolution of staff
Organise marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount schemes
Manage customer service and satisfaction and obtaining feedback
Taking action on customers' feedback to promote and expand the restaurant
Planning and pricing of food and beverage menus in consultation with Chef
Manage staff rosters and wages
Ensure staff are providing a high customer service standard
Performing stocktake and maintaining records
Budgeting and Purchasing of stock
Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and the restaurant is clean and functional
Such other Managerial duties which are incidental to the work of a Restaurant Manager and our establishment which may include supervision of bar and gaming activities.
Qualifications and Skills
Diploma Qualification in Business / Hotel Management or other relevant qualification
Minimum 3 years suitable Restaurant Manager experience, including;
Supervision of Staff
Preparation of reports
An annualised salary based on the Hospitality Industry Award will be provided between $55,000 to $65,000.
