Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies (including permanent full time / part time, fixed term full time / part time with the possibility of extension(s) and / or permanency and casual appointments) throughout the health service.
In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process.
Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
Position Profile : Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic, experienced and suitably qualified individual to join the Infection Prevention & Control team as a Clinical Nurse.
In this role, you will practice as a Clinical Nurse using the Scope of Nursing Practice Decision Making Framework and coordinate patient care activities.
You will also supervise and direct nursing care of Registered and Enrolled Nurses in the application of Infection Control policy and practice, and provide clinical expertise and local leadership.
