Senior Manager, Solution Engineering The Sr. Solution Engineer provides technical product support for Solution Development projects, with specific focus on developing extended functionality for the Duck Creek OnDemand SaaS solutions, and partners with the Solution Consulting and other Solution Engineering and Consulting staff to promote Duck Creek product offerings.
The Sr. Solution Engineer acts as the technical subject matter expert with the ability to work directly with Solution Consulting consultants and engineers and Duck Creek Development engineers to deliver demonstrable enhancements to the Duck Suite of products.
The Senior Solution Engineer will be capable of presenting the technical capabilities of the products, addressing technical architecture, integration approaches, security, database, configuration, hardware / software requirements, and project scoping.
The role works closely with the Product Management team to understand the product strategy / road map and to communicate requirements and trends encountered among our prospects.
The Senior Solution Engineer may manage other resources in the delivery of key projects. RESPONSIBILITIES Provides subject matter expertise on the full technical stack aspects of Duck Creek offerings and their delivery through the Duck Creek OnDemand solutions.
Acts as the subject matter expert on the Duck Creek platform, executes with a cloud first mind set helping prospects and customers realize benefits of the Duck Creek cloud-based architecture and SaaS services.
Works closely with the Sales and other Solution Engineering and Consulting staff to promote Duck Creek product offerings.

Minimum of 12 years’ experience as technology architect, sale engineer, or developer in software development team or software / content implementation team 5 years of experience in Insurance technology Experience in various IaaS / PaaS / cloud deployment models (e.
g., Azure, AWS, Pivotal, IBM BlueMix, Docker, Kubernetes), Azure preferred. Experience with metadata driven configuration tools preferred Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and / or Abilities : Expert experience in more than one of the following technology competencies : UX / Front end technologies (e.
g. .NET, C#, Java, etc.) Data / RDBMS / XML / XSLT Technologies Understanding of Object-oriented design, Java or .NET development, Relational OLTP queries and Relational database design Microsoft Azure Strong problem-solving skills, able to solve increasingly complex business problems and implement solutions.
Strong sense of responsibility and ownership, with decisions regularly impacting own work as well as work of others. Proven ability to work independently and as a team member Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
