The e-Discovery Project Coordinator assists a team of Project Managers in overseeing the execution of litigation support projects and is ultimately responsible for the quality and timeliness of each project.
Project Coordinators build relationships with clients, learn each client’s technical specifications and advise on best practices when appropriate.
Members in this role identify potential project problem areas and solve those problems before and as they arrive. This is a junior-level project management role with the potential to become a Project Manager.
Assist Project Managers with client requests and oversee full life cycle of projects per client parameters
Responsible for the execution of litigation support projects
Track delivery schedules, ensuring proper quality assurance, and manage changes in work scope
Work closely to ensure proper allocation of resources based on deadlines and priorities set by the client
Serve as a liaison between internal personnel and the client during the life cycle of a project
Develop and utilize strong analytical skills to research potential solutions and determine appropriate course of action
Ensure jobs are completed according to client and industry standards, and that job specifications and deadlines are met
Knowledge of MS Office applications including proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of MS Access
Available to work overtime, including evenings and weekends as needed
Available by phone or email when out of the office as needed
Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Excellent customer service, organizational, and analytical skills
Must be a high-level problem solver and have high multi-tasking skills
Preferred Skills and Experience
Knowledge of SQL and / or Visual Basic
Working knowledge of e-Discovery operations, including document imaging, printing, coding, and electronic data processing
Experience with IPRO, LAW PreDiscovery, Concordance, Summation, Relativity, Ringtail or other review database applications is ideal
Bachelor’s Degree in related field, a strong technical background is helpful
