The Role :

  • We are looking for a Structural Engineer to join the site-based Alliance team at Tomago Aluminium. Providing technical engineering advice to our client Tomago Aluminium, you will also be responsible for;
  • Providing and delivering quality hands on structural engineering solutions on time and within budget;
  • Provide technical support and assistance within the discipline team.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships within Worley, with its clients and other key stakeholders;
  • Identify and report changes to project scope;
  • Assist with the preparation of detailed designs and drawings, specifications, data, calculations and reports.
  • About You

    As you will be liaising directly with our client, you will have sound communication and rapport building skills with the ability to think on your feet.

  • Additional skills and experience include;
  • An Australian recognised Structural Engineering degree;
  • 5 7 years engineering experience;
  • Previous design and structural engineering experience within brownfield environments including heavy manufacturing industries;
  • Competent in structural assessments and reporting on findings;
  • Proficient using structural design software (ideally SpaceGass and Stran7);
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team and demonstrate Worley’s core values.
