We are seeking to hire a motivated Program Lead to join our collaborative, high growth organization located at our office based in Lane Cove, Sydney , Australia.

The Program Lead will impact the organization by using their excellent problem reasoning, risk management, and interpersonal / communications skills to assist the Program Management team with leading product design through the entire development life cycle, to deliver high quality products to a specification defined by the customer and the company.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Takes total ownership of product design, development, manufacturing and delivery of high quality products
  • Identifies risk mitigation strategies when time, cost, and / or quality may be compromised that would adversely impact customer satisfaction
  • Responsible for project and product requirements in all areas hardware, software, integration & testing, collaterals, environmental, timeline, etc.
  • Reviews internal and customer requirements to ensure they are relevant and attainable. Involves stakeholders to resolve requirements that are unclear and / or in conflict
  • Ensures requirements are comprehensively tracked and mapped throughout all stages of product development from gathering, development, testing to mass production
  • Assures that our products are manufactured to the highest quality possible by ensuring all required tests are conducted, including regression tests when applicable
  • Facilitates efficient collaboration amongst internal and external development teams to coordinate product design, development, technical issue resolution and manufacturing
  • Technical expert during pre-sales / product definition phase with internal and external customer. Leading technical discussions with stakeholders to ensure suppliers clearly understand product requirements and production delivery timeline
  • Assists Quality team with RCA’s for customer reported issues on products in production
  • Thoroughly understand product specifications and can assist engineering teams with design specifications when needed
  • QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Undergraduate degree in Mechanical, Electrical or equivalent technical engineering discipline.
  • 4+ years of related experience as Technical Lead, Program Manager, Product Project Management or similar
  • Proven experience building and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders (hardware, software, project management, NPI engineering, compliance, manufacturing)
  • Proficient knowledge of different phases of product development cycle, including PoC, Lab / Field trials, and into mass production
  • Proficient knowledge of product design, development & manufacturing processes
  • Experience in estimating budgetary figures using basic project parameters and past development pricing
  • Team player with never give up attitude and passionate about delivering high quality products.
  • Able and willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed
  • Experience in working with in a multi discipline engineering team
