    Rio Tinto has committed $50 million to attract, grow and retain Indigenous professionals and leaders in our business.

    The Principal Advisor Indigenous Attraction will be responsible for attracting Indigenous professional and leadership candidates into Rio Tinto.

    Reporting to the Senior Manager Indigenous Leadership your key responsibilities include :

  • Establishing key external partnerships to support the Indigenous Leadership Program’s deliverables and collaborating internally within the business to leverage existing partnerships in support of an Indigenous leadership focus
  • Working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander representatives and communities, other stakeholders and our key partners to proactively identify and support internal and external Indigenous candidates
  • Developing and executing a strategic integrated communications strategy for the program, including marketing, positioning and a compelling Indigenous Employee Value Proposition
  • Collaborating and partnering to deliver internal and external communications that strengthen engagement and advocacy
  • About you

    To be successfully considered for this role, you will have :

  • Experience building relationships with universities and other professional bodies
  • Managed accounts with external talent providers
  • Partnering experience at all levels
