Reporting to the Associate Director Digital & Omni-Channel Sales Performance, the Digital Sales Manager - Prepaid has direct accountability for the strategy development and execution for Consumer and SoHo Micro segments across Online Sales channels (Self-Serve, Webchat and Digital Partners) for Prepaid.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include

  • Optimize and drive growth in sales and revenue mix across Optus Online Sales channels for Prepaid by being accountable for the sales flow from research, conversion, operations and activation
  • Understand customer behaviour and drive consistent and compelling sales and research experiences that enable and entice customers to purchase Prepaid online
  • Act as a crucial link between the Prepaid Squad and non-Agile broader business units, communicating requirements, dependencies, impacts and recommendations to delivering a world-class digital and omni-channel Prepaid sales experience for our customer.
  • As key Digital leaders, champion a Digital first culture across the broader Optus organisation to drive improved customer experience and growth outcomes in Digital and physical channels.
  • The role will be also accountable to deliver on the following

  • Digital thought leadership at strategic and tactical level, for Prepaid
  • Transformational initiatives to drive Digital adoption including shifting activity from traditional channels to Digital First , for Prepaid
  • Finding opportunities and initiatives to drive an outstanding Customer Experience
  • Market and performance insights in real-time
  • We are looking for the following skills and experience

  • Professional experience in a mid-level Digital Sales leadership role
  • Strong background in Digital Sales and best-practices
  • Experience in developing and enforcing effective work methods and standards
  • Demonstrated ability to develop a sales strategy
  • Proven ability to use insights to identify the key factors that will drive a positive sales outcome
  • Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams to achieve objectives in line with overall business targets

  • Strong skills in sales practices, and ability to co-ordinate and deliver on sales campaigns across traditional and digital channels (retail, digital, app, responsive)
