    About the role

    We have an opportunity for a Senior Special Constable (Security) to be part of our Security Management Unit team. The Senior Special Constable (Security) provides a quality protective security service to selected NSW Police Force and external agency sites and facilities, ensuring an overall safe and secure working environment for personnel, property and information.

    Note : To be eligible to apply, the applicant must be currently employed as a Special Constable (provisions within Section 81G, Police Act 1990 determine employment conditions in this regard)

    Essential requirements

  • Obtain and maintain the requisite security clearance for this role.
  • Be prepared to work rotational shift work.
  • Ability and willingness to work at and rotate through various locations.
  • Maintain firearm and DEFTAC accreditation in line with corporate mandatory training objectives.
  • Computer literacy and ability to use email and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Ability to maintain awareness of policy and procedural changes.
