We are looking for a Specialist Locomotives & Track Machines to be part of the Regional Asset Management & Engineering Services Team at Rail Division
This role is a great opportunity to be the leading technical authority and provide subject matter expertise to the AMES and Rail team.
You will be the main technical resource for the Principal Engineer, develop and own WOL plans, tactics and strategies and to assist in the delivery of step changes in asset management, reliability and utilisation of the Rolling Stock fleet.
Develop and own Asset Management Plans incorporating Life Cycle Cost modelling, Critical Assess Risk Assessments, maintenance strategies, plans and tactics and critical spares holdings for the fleet.
Governance and Assurance of the applicable Engineering and Asset Management Standards.
Developing asset design specifications, incorporating systems engineering and change custodianship
Provide Level 2 Subject Matter Expert support, fault finding and escalation
Develop Long Term roadmaps for asset upgrades / improvements and subsequent capital planning
Developing Order of Magnitude, Pre-Feasibility and Feasibility Studies to support development of the asset capital and improvement programs
Support reliability and cost improvement programs
Tertiary qualification or equivalent
A Current C Class Drivers Licence
Demonstrated understanding of plant care, risk management, RCA and quality maintenance principles
Experience with locomotives and track machines is essential
Experience with maintenance workshop machinery is desirable
