We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

  • Monitor and administer applications, infrastructure and networks to maintain uptime;
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the technical landscape and architecture;
  • Resolve incidents and problems in a prioritised and timely manner, escalating where necessary;
  • Participate in and contribute to the delivery of IT and IT-enabled business projects;
  • Manage the day to day operations of the IT Service Desk;
  • Manage the Service Desk compliance with agreed SLAs;
  • Monitor and report on SLA compliance and other Service Desk metrics, as agreed with IT Manager;
  • Manage the lifecycle of end user compute and mobile devices;
  • Monitor and manage the ongoing resourcing requirements of the IT Service Desk
  • Degree in IT or a related discipline or equivalent experience;
  • Broad experience supporting corporate IT environments;
  • Industry certifications from vendors such as Microsoft / Cisco / VMware;
  • Ability to work autonomously and rapidly acquire skills in new technologies;
  • Ability to interact with people at all levels of the organisation including internal, external stakeholders and clients;
  • Ability to travel to regional sites and offices as required.
