    About the role

    An opportunity exists for an Environmental Service Worker to join our team at Stanthorpe Aged Care Service in the delivery of services to our residents.

    You will be a hands-on individual looking for diversity in a role. You will be responsible for working and assisting in the laundry area.

    You may be required to work in a variety of areas including the main kitchen, kitchenettes, serveries, bedrooms, dining rooms and cleaning areas.

    Within this position you may be required to work weekends, AM and PM shifts.

    About you

    You are an enthusiastic reliable worker who enjoys being a team player and yet can work autonomously. You have compassion for the elderly and are passionate about maintaining an environment suitable to their needs.

    Ideally you will have :

  • Certificate II in Cleaning Operations and / or Certificate II in Kitchen Operations or similar is desirable;
  • Current National Police Certificate;
  • Experience in working in kitchens, preferably within the Aged Care industry;
  • Experience in operating equipment associated with cleaning and laundry;
  • Willingness to work a variety of shifts across a 7 day week.
  • Please note, all employees working within our residential and community aged care will need to be immunised for Influenza from 01 / 05 / 2020.

    If you have already received your flu vaccination, we ask that you provide proof as part of the recruitment process.
