The Opportunity :

We have a fantastic opportunity for a self-sufficient, proactive and creative Marketing Manager to join Dexus as a Marketing Manager across our City Retail Melbourne portfolio.

As a Marketing Manager, City Retail Melbourne at Dexus, you’ll see first-hand how important people are to our business. You’ll exercise your naturally curious mind, working to understand what our customers need and enabling that before they even ask.

Collaborating closely with teams across the business, you’ll develop expert insight into the relationships that sustain our business and be supported in your personal and professional development through a range of employee programs and benefits.

The role :

As the Marketing Manager, City Retail Melbourne you will manage the retail centres across our Melbourne portfolio, including QV Melbourne, 80 Collins and Galleria.

This will see you taking ownership of marketing strategy and all event activities, working closely with the Centre Manager and the National Marketing and Business Manager to develop and implement value add activities that will maximise centre performance, brand and operational efficiency.

You will be accountable for maximising customer traffic, retail sales and enhance each retail destination as the venue of choice for customers and visitors.

In addition, you will deliver consistent and streamlined messaging across the communication channels and guarantee customer touch points are maximising the digital platform and in centre experience including event management.

This role will also manage the available marketing funds with a view to achieve maximum return on investment by driving value add outcomes to key projects.

There is also a large focus on building strong relationships with the retailers, local business community leaders and organisations, then of course keeping each retail destination presenting well at all times.

About you :

Success in this role will be for an individual with a true passion for strategic marketing. You will have experience in an integrated marketing and communications role within a retail environment or similar, having liaised with external advertising / marketing, PR and digital agencies.

You will succeed if you have an interest, and aptitude, in creative / design excellence and are proficient in strategic marketing planning and digital engagement.

You will have the ability to act as a strong team player that thrives in an ever-changing environment with a great customer service mindset.
