As part of our plans for global expansion (see : world domination!) we have opened our Australian operations and will be headquartered in Melbourne.

Customer Experience Engineer

Slalom’s digital transformation team builds solutions to help our clients solve their most complex business challenges. Our diverse teams are invigorated by new challenges and aren’t shy to seek out new learning opportunities or challenge the status quo.

As a Customer Experience Engineer, you will design and build cutting-edge cloud solutions in team-based projects and developing the skills of those around you, technically and professionally.

So, what will I do?

  • Help clients deliver digital customer experiences using AWS services centred around Amazon Connect.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on AWS to our clients
  • Develop project case studies, technology documentation and training
  • Lead and / or participate in Slalom and industry events or initiatives
  • And, what will I bring?

    Strong skills in cloud and customer experience related technologies :

  • Amazon Customer experience, including migrating from legacy IVR solutions, integrating to customer systems, creating automated contact flows.
  • Experience integrating to Amazon Lex chatbots
  • AWS serverless experience with modern programming languages
  • Customer engagement experience with AWS Pinpoint
  • Knowledge in legacy contact centre’s and IVR’s with associated business tooling
  • Experience with tools including such as work force management
  • Cloud automaton tooling and scripting experience CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Jenkins, and the like.
  • Knowledge in AWS AI services, ideally in conjunction with customer experience
  • Ability to create high-quality technical designs and documentation.
  • Clear, collaborative communication style and stakeholder management skills.
  • Growth mindset, enthusiastic about learning new technologies quickly.
  • AWS Professional and / or Associate level certifications.
