The Opportunity

Reporting to the FIT Desk Customer Service Lead, the Tech Bar Audio Visual (AV) Support Agent is responsible for the operation and management of the internal AV support service to Medibank’s staff.

The Tech Bar team at Medibank are focused on providing exceptional customer service and efficient support to our internal and external stakeholders in our Melbourne office and other corporate sites across Australia.

  • The responsibilities of the role will include but not limited to;
  • Prioritising the customers experience by providing a positive, flexible and timely service to ensure an innovative solution.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, Technology and Operations team, IT Service team, and Senior Executives by sharing knowledge and increasing awareness of AV / VC technology.
  • Develop continuous improvement in customer service support and work closely with the FIT desk lead on expanding the current delivery model to meet customers’ requirements.
  • Provide AV technology training to new and existing team members in a 1 : 1 and classroom-based situations.
  • Document and report on processes, incidents, escalations and interactions related to AV / VC and highlight key issues to establish the best solutions.
  • Stay on top of the latest technology trends in relation to AV / VC to assist with requests and queries effectively.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all stakeholders by providing solutions using your technological knowledge and previous experience in supporting large-scale businesses with AV support.
  • Work closely with Medibank’s IT, Tech and Operation teams to develop and execute process improvements.
  • About you

    You will be an experienced AV support professional with over 2 years’ experience working in supporting AV services to large scale customer services businesses preferably with AV solutions (VC, Web & Audio Conferencing).

    You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills giving you the ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders.

    You can quickly identify customers’ requirements and can demonstrate strong knowledge in Level 1 and 2 IT support. You are pro-active and enjoy motivating, training and educating people.
