As the Business Development Manager - Mining you will be responsible for leveraging existing and new relationships within the mining industry to sell leading-edge AI solutions.

You will have a deep understanding of the operational and safety processes and the issues of your customers, their pain-points, bottlenecks and the value / business case for the solutions.

Working closely with the General Manager (GM) Australia and our Solutions Architects, you will help existing and potential clients to explore exciting frontiers, achieve business breakthroughs and solve problems with AI and Deep Learning technology.

As a key member of our team here in Australia, you will collaborate with the Israel based team including the R&D Director, Director of Products and Pre-Sales Engineers to ensure the best solutions are developed for our clients.

About You

We are searching for an exceptional Business Development Manager to help empower more Australian organisations with AI.

Your ability to build trust, develop strong value propositions and gain cut through sets you apart from other BDM’s.

If you have a passion for using technology to drive change within the mining sector and know the pivotal people within large mining companies to share it with, this is a fantastic opportunity for you.

Requirements

  • Tertiary education in a relevant field. Post Graduate qualifications would be an advantage.
  • At least five (5) years of services sales experience selling software solutions to the mining sector. Proven experience structuring and winning large deals.
  • Prior experience working for or with a large mining company in a technical capacity is ideal.
  • Clear and effective communication, relationship building, interpersonal, written and verbal English skills. Ability to communicate well to Board, C-level and individuals at all levels.
  • Strong existing network and demonstrably excellent networking skills.
  • You will be warm, genuine, trustworthy energetic and tenacious.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, outcome and solutions focussed.
  • It would be advantageous if you can demonstrate active learning and a personal interest in AI.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial and multi-cultural environment.
  • Must have current work rights for Australia.

    Location and Travel

    This position will be located in the Perth CBD at a high-quality office space with state-of-the-art facilities.

    Travel is a requirement of the position, in a post-COVID-19 business environment.

    You will also have the opportunity to travel to Israel when circumstances permit.
