About the Role
As the National Distribution Manager, you are responsible for the delivery of warehouse services for the main distribution centre & the operations of the NSW Loan Set Team.
Critical to this role will be developing partnerships with Sales & Marketing, Finance, Regulatory & 3rd Party Service Providers to ensure a mutually beneficial outcome.
This role involves managing all staff, inventory & facilities within the site, as well as optimising processes & allocating resources to ensure the highest possible customer service level is achieved.
About the Responsibilities
Managing the overall performance of the warehouse, while coaching, developing & empowering your Team Leaders
Ensuring stocktaking activities are developed & executed in accordance with the agreed stocktake program
Engaging & supporting projects that drive continuous improvement of warehouse operations
Investigating root causes of bottlenecks in current processes to improve productivity
Ensuring efficient use of shelf space maximizing warehouse utilisation & planning for future capacity requirements
Managing end-to-end operations of NSW Loan Set Team
Degree qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business or Operations related disciplines
5+ years in Distribution Centre Management preferably within Medical Devices or a related field
Lean Six Sigma, Lean and 5S experience, and strong SAP & Excel skills
Ability to analyse logistics data and interpret trends & implications
Complex problem solving skills with strong attention to detail
Excellent communication, verbal, written and presentation
Experience leading both centralised and decentralised teams
