3 Year Contract

Kalyra Communities has been established for 128 years, building a strong service and reputation we now provide residential care services to 219 people living in three residential care homes in southern Adelaide.

With the dedication and support of our team, we take pride in being able to deliver a high standard of care, with importance on resident choice and wellbeing.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for inspiring strategic leadership and management of the residential services operations to ensure effectiveness and profitably and the well-being of residents living our three homes.

The continuous improvement of services, systems, processes, policy and procedures in order to operate as effectively and efficiently as possible.

Applications are sought from candidates who hold previous experience in a similar capacity and who possess experience working in a care environment focusing on the needs of older people.

This position is Full time, three year contract position.

Candidates will possess :

  • A thorough understanding of aged care legislation
  • Understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation Process
  • Sound knowledge of the Aged Care Funding Instrument (ACFI)
  • Proven clinical management experience in aged care
  • Proven leadership and people management skills
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and achieving best practice
  • Sound financial and business acumen
  • A Degree Qualification in related health or management field and a Drivers Licence are essential to apply. An attractive remuneration package including full salary packaging and car will be negotiated with the preferred candidate subject to pre employment medical and National Police Check.
