About the role

As a part of marketing which is under the Commercial umbrella, you will report to the Pricing Manager. You will operate in a highly dynamic environment, have a high degree of autonomy and play an instrumental role in supporting the pricing team with basic to intermediate level analysis tasks so that the team can focus on our major annual pricing project.

In the role of pricing analyst, you will have the following responsibilities :

  • Support pricing team members to screen through the pricing requests sent by sales people.
  • Review or scan customers' Service Level Agreement for pricing information
  • Run analyses on revenue / pricing data
  • Update pricing tools and systems
  • Update pricing templates for internal submission
  • Download customer rate cards in bulk
  • Perform data validation when requested
  • Perform basic pricing reports on regular basis
  • Running data queries in BI tool, internal systems to update business cases
  • Handle any other admin requests
  • The successful candidate for this role will have the following attributes :

  • At least 5 year professional experience in corporate environments with multiple-tasking and analytical skills
  • Great attention to details
  • A fast-learner who can absorb quick training and is also good at problem solving
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, time management and prioritisation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment where a variety of tasks are required
  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce / Business will be highly regarded
  • Minimum intermediate Excel skills, and experience with IMB Cognos is high regarded
  • Willingness to work in office near Mascot station 5 days a week
  • Available to start any time in September until Christmas 2020
