Zendesk is looking for an experienced and energetic Senior Enterprise Sales Director for our Australia and New Zealand business, based in Sydney.
This is a unique opportunity to lead ANZ Sales for a fast-growing NYSE-listed SaaS company.
You'll have full ownership and responsibility for managing sales activities and ensuring the achievement of significant new and existing customer revenue targets that support the company’s objectives in a dynamic market with the help and support of your team.
Our ideal candidate will possess strong sales management experience, as well as deep knowledge of enterprise sales cycles likely from their experience as an individual contributor.
This person will play a key role in leading a highly visible and motivated sales team covering Enterprise level accounts.
What we need you to do :
Provide strong leadership, vision and direction for the sales team and broader Zendesk sales organisation
Continue to hire, grow, lead and motivate a high-performing enterprise sales team
Be accountable for the attainment of assigned new customer acquisition and financial performance targets
Track and analyse sales activities to understand and capitalise on buying trends and patterns
Maintain a high level of knowledge of Zendesk solutions while staying current in understanding the competitive landscape and industry trends
Establish policies, processes and procedures that will ensure revenue growth
Roll up your sleeves and do what is necessary for the customer and your team
What we need you to have :
10- 15 years of software / SaaS sales experience as an individual contributor, including 5+ years sales management experience.
5-8 years leadership experience managing regional teams of 10-20 people.
Experience with managing managers.
Must have a proven track record of success, driving revenue growth against quota and increased profitability in the software industry.
Currently and successfully managing multiple teams of Enterprise Account Executives in a B2B software environment.
Breadth of industry experience.
Excellent presentation and listening skills.
Demonstrated experience building and developing a high-performing sales team.
Ability to provide accurate forecasting and pipeline development and management.
Entrepreneurial, self-directed with a passion to succeed.
A flexible and creative, out of the box thinker.
