Wehave an exciting permanent opportunity to join the Cargill Agriculture SupplyChain Grain Operations team as a Regional Operations Assistant for our grain storageand handling facility at Dimboola, VIC.

Reporting to the Regional OperationsManager, you will be responsible to lead the bunker operations and maintainsafe and efficient work practices across the onsite operations.

Thisbusy, hands-on role will utilise your operations background and experience indelivering training and maintaining a high level of safety alongside inventorymanagement control and operational efficiency.

The focus of this role will be80% execution and 20% planning and scheduling.

Keyresponsibilities will include, but not limited to :

  • Leadingoperations and working safely with site staff whilst receiving, storing and out-turningproduct from site
  • Providingtraining and supervision to staff and contractors in key activities including;tarping, general bunker operations, plant operations including DOGS &Stackers, elevators and conveyors, silos, front end loaders, site vehicles,grain sampling and weighing equipment
  • Leadingthe execution of risk management systems and programs for both EH&S &FSQR and inventory management programs including;
  • safety programs, bunkerinspection and tarp management, waste grain identification, maintaining andrecording, pest management and cut off and weigh up programs

  • Playingactive role with the maintenance & reliability program for the sites toensure we can attend to commercial-logistic volume expectations, optimisingplant equipment capacities and availability by performing proactive maintenanceto maintain safe and efficient assets
  • Assistwith operational efficiency planning and review including developing rosters, masterschedules and planning outturns, input of data into model elevator review anddiscuss reporting, review and discuss of monthly profit and Loss reports
  • Assistin site operation on capital management (CAPEX), including base levelimprovements projects following standardized specifications and policies

    Allabout you

  • Witha background in Agriculture / Supply Chain / Grain operations you will bring yourproven operational skills and experience;
  • Minimum3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Abilityto supervise Contractors and administer operational training on StandardOperating Procedures (WI)
  • Abilityto drive and promote a safety culture which aligns with Cargill values
  • Excellentinterpersonal, communication and organisational skills
  • Experienceof working within a changing work environment focused on reliability andquality
  • Abilityto work in a team environment and travel to the other sites as required
  • Willingnessto work flexible hours when needed to meet customer requirements
  • MotorVehicle License is mandatory
  • ConfinedSpace certificate (preferred)
  • FirstAid certificate (Min level 2) (preferred)
  • Frontend loader license (preferred)
  • Fumigationcertificate(preferred)
