We are currently looking for a self-motivated and passionate Maintenance Officer. Working with a knowledgeable team, you will be highly organised and capable of applying Tassals Work, Health and Safety System to its Yamba Prawn Farming Operations.
About the role :
This is a full-time, hands on role is based at our Yamba prawn farm and production facility and reports to the Farm Manager.
This position is responsible for the maintenance of the site to ensure optimum efficiency and product quality, safety and the minimisation of equipment failure in accordance with regulations, industry guidelines and company procedures.
About you :
To be successful in this role you must be a self-motivated team player who has a passion for hands on work and a commitment to safety in line with our Zero Harm culture.
You will have had experience as a mechanical trades person previously with light vehicle and farm machinery and / or exposure to food processing or production environments will see you best placed along with a passion for working in a diverse role.
Experience with project and contractor management will be looked on favourably but not essential
