An excellent opportunity exists for an experienced and motivated Operations Manager, who will assist our Retail Management team with the management of Westland Shopping Centre.

This exciting Operations Manager role will work closely with the State Director, providing experience in a challenging environment.

It is a great opportunity for a highly motivated individual to optimise Savills' resources and site outcomes of the property.

This key role requires someone who demonstrates the highest standard of professionalism in both presentation and communication, who is highly efficient and is able to respond to changing priorities with ease.

Exceptional organisation skills and a proactive attitude are required, as well as the ability to build solid relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

The key responsibilities will include :

  • Oversee and supervise the repair and maintenance of a broad spectrum of building services ensuring consistent delivery of required outcomes.
  • Oversee all service contractors
  • Tender and implement service contracts as required
  • Ensure Risk Management practices are applied
  • Manage all operations and maintenance works to ensure compliance with legislative requirements including Safe Work procedures
  • Maintain efficient and tight control over the centres operating costs
  • Maintain and ensure quality systems are being adhered to, ensure compliance with established procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of correspondence and compliance information
  • Have a strong understanding of financial reporting
  • Sound understanding of the Retail Shop Leases Act
  • To be successful in this role you will have :

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a management role
  • Budget, business plan and development experience
  • Knowledge of risk management and WHS legislation
  • Financial management skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and negotiation skills
  • Intermediate level skills using Microsoft Office packages
