Ausdrill are currently seeking a suitably experienced Site Manager for a long-term coal contract commencing in December 2020.

The key functions of this role include :

  • Lead by example show commitment to safety and production.
  • Liaising with Ausdrill management and client on the design of drill patterns for optimum utilisation and productivity of drills.
  • Liaising with Ausdrill management and client on the design of blast patterns for optimum fragmentation and productivity. (where applicable)
  • Ensure all QA documentation is correct and filed accordingly.
  • Work with Supervisors Drill crew, Maintenance and ancillary crew for training of all personnel.
  • Maintain high level of communication.
  • Assist and Mentor supervisors to continuously develop them in their roles.
  • Successful candidates will have :

  • A minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Cert IV in Drilling Operations (preferred)
  • Cert IV Frontline Management (preferred)
  • Be residing in NSW (local to Hunter Valley / Gunnedah Basin preferred)
  • Hold a current Order 43 medical
  • Hold a valid Driver’s licence
  • Current National Police Check
